FROM THE DEVELOPERS

Since the launch of Season 1 last week, we’ve been actively listening to player feedback about audio issues in Warzone, particularly related to footsteps. This initial update aims to address some of these issues and improve the overall holiday experience.

When making changes like this, we need to carefully examine and consider a complex set of variables. One of the main factors to consider is fidelity in our games to avoid too much of a gap between Warzone, multiplayer and Zombies. Additionally, changes to things like overlap, drop distance, first person vs third party balance, or the mechanics of certain perks can have ripple effects due to the sheer number of interacting/overlapping sounds in Battle Royale.

Please know that we are committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that players can fully immerse themselves in the game while maintaining a competitive edge. We appreciate your continued constructive feedback, and we will continue to work to make Warzone the best it can be on all fronts.

BUGS FIXED

  • Fixed issues with collisions with various elements throughout Urzikstan, allowing players to use/peek/shoot through them.
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in players getting stuck in locked buildings that should otherwise be inaccessible.
  • Fixed additional issues with incorrect text appearing when completing quests.
