Warzone 2 Season 2: Release Date, Respawn Map, Gulag Changes, and More.

Season 1 ends on February 1, Activision has announced that Warzone 2 season 2 has been delayed until  February 15, 2023  .

Seasonal content typically airs at  10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM GMT  , and we expect Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 to be no different.

Activision has confirmed that the second season will feature “the return of Resurgence. While no official details have been provided on what the map might look like, the leaked Resurgence map once again showed the island and POIs such as the castle, port, power plant, and city center. Activision removed map images.

Infinity Ward have confirmed that the Warzone 2 Season 2 update will bring the 1v1 Gulag back into the battle royale.

Loot is also getting a major overhaul, as the developers announced that they will be returning to the original system of dropping loot on the floor when looting containers and killing players.

They also said cash would be more readily available and further price changes would be made.

According to the game files and attachments that appeared after Season 1 Reboot,  the Vepr-12 crossbow  and  shotgun  will appear in Season 2.

Ronin, based on real-life US Army veteran Tu Lam, who provided motion capture for the character, debuted in Modern Warfare 2019. It appears to be returning in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2

The Warzone 2 developers also posted a tweet revealing what the Season 2 update has in store for the DMZ.

Infinity Ward has announced that players are expected to:

• New missions
• New exclusion zone
• Difficulty settings

In addition to the new missions, players will get a new Exclusion Zone that will likely be similar to Building 21. The update will also introduce a difficulty setting, which is great for those who aren’t overly interested in the challenge that the DMZ presents for solo players.
