All items from Modern Warfare 2 have been transferred to Modern Warfare 3

The term  “Transfer” refers to the transfer of existing content from Modern Warfare 2 , making that content available in Modern Warfare 3  . Content includes items such as weapons , and cosmetic items such as packs, operators, rewards, and unlocks.

Call of Duty has confirmed that  all content unlocked in Modern Warfare 2 is carried over to Modern Warfare 3  , including the following content:

  • Weapon
  • Operators and operator skins
  • Blueprints
  • Camouflages for all weapons
  • Weapon talismans
  • Stickers
  • Emblems
  • Loading screens
  • Double Experience Tokens
  • Specific vehicle liveries and battle tracks
  • Weapon Development
  • Attachments
  • Bonus rewards for pre-ordering, such as the Hacking Operator Pack.
  • View Rewards on Twitch
  • Beta Test Rewards
  • COD Points
  • Season 6 Pass Tokens
  • Weapon Tokens

Every  MW2 weapon you unlocked from levels 1 to 55 will carry over into Modern Warfare 3  , retaining both its level and progress status, including all unlocks and attachments.

This progress will be synchronized, so you can level up a weapon in MW2 or MW3 and it will retain its level in both games.

MW2 Base Operators must be unlocked in MW2 by completing certain objectives (such as Campaign or Spec Ops modes) and will only be available in Modern Warfare 3 if you have unlocked skins for them, as those skins will continue to apply.

Fortunately for many players, all MW2 camos will be available in Modern Warfare 3. Additionally, you will be able to use any MW2 camo except the Completionist camo with all MW3 weapons.

One of the biggest problems players face every year when a new game comes out is the availability of camos they’ve spent months trying to unlock, so this news is sure to be met with enthusiasm. Additionally, players will also have the opportunity to unlock new camos as Modern Warfare 3 will have its own list of camos and weapons to unlock.

Another major addition to the portable content is the Season 6 Battle Pass, which means players will be able to resume their progress in Modern Warfare 3 and earn experience tokens and rewards. Additionally, any items you unlocked or earned while playing the MW3 beta or watching Twitch streams that gave drops will carry over.

Players should be aware that if content such as a tactical vehicle or specific lethal or tactical equipment is not available in Modern Warfare 3, unlocked items from MW2 will not be available.
