The weapons we want to see in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Here are some classic Modern Warfare 2 weapons we’d love to see in Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and Warzone 2.

Infinity Ward has rekindled the players’ passion for the original with the inclusion of some classic weapons and cards from the 2009 release, bringing nostalgia to seasoned players.

There are already several classic MW2 weapons in the game, but they have different names compared to the original. For example, the TAQ-56 is very similar to the SCAR-H and the M4 is basically the same as the M4A1.

However, there are still some maps and weapons that players would like to bring back from the original MW. So here are the classic MW weapons we’d love to see in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

TAR-21

The TAR-21 is the classic assault rifle from Modern Warfare 2, and while MW19 had a similar version of the weapon in RAM-7, we’re yet to see a version as powerful as the original.

The TAR-21 will be a welcome addition to the weapons roster, giving players a mid-range assault rifle that could possibly be built for long-range combat in Al-Mazra with the right attachments.

Mini-Uzi

The Mini-Uzi is a staple of the Modern Warfare series, which returned in MW19. However, the submachine gun didn’t make a comeback in Modern Warfare 2, and we definitely miss it.

The Mini Uzi will bring a satisfying melee weapon to the game, with great damage and fire rate.

F2000

The F2000 from Modern Warfare 2 was a fully automatic assault rifle with a high rate of fire. While his damage was his biggest weakness, his rate of fire more than made up for it, especially at close to mid range.

We’d love to see this weapon return in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 after it was brought back as the BP50 in Vanguard as it could be a great choice to support medium and sniper weapons in both games.

FAMAS

Modern Warfare 2 already has one classic M16 explosive weapon, but we don’t mind adding another weapon. The original FAMAS in Modern Warfare 2 was a high-damage three-round burst, giving it the ability to hit an enemy with a single pull of the trigger.

UMP45

The UMP45 is one of those weapons that players associate with the original Modern Warfare, mainly because it was one of the best and most popular weapon options in the entire game.

So we would really like to see this high-damage submachine gun return and dominate like before, with that gunshot sound made even more iconic by the silencer.

ACR

Perhaps one of the most beloved weapons in the original Modern Warfare was the ACR, an extremely accurate assault rifle known for its stability and easily controlled recoil.

There is no doubt that the ACR will be welcomed by the community as it will offer an alternative to the TAQ-56, which is currently considered the easiest weapon to use in the game thanks to its low recoil and consistent damage.
