There are a lot of great ranged options in Warzone 2, but snipers tend to grab everyone’s attention. However, the community has noticed just how powerful LMGs are in Warzone 2 as more and more players begin to tap into their power.

There are six LMGs in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 in Season 1, so if you can’t decide which one to use, here are all of them in order from worst to best.

6.HCR56

The HCR 56  isn’t necessarily a bad weapon in Warzone 2, but of all the LMGs, it’s the weakest link. This is mainly due to the fact that other weapons in this category are better when it comes to the main attraction of the LMG category, namely damage and rate of fire.

5.556 Icarus

The 556 Icarus  is a versatile light machine gun and is a great option for those who would prefer a more assault rifle-like light machine gun in Warzone 2. This light machine gun has excellent rate of fire, recoil control, mobility and handling, making it a great option for who is not a fan of heavy LMGs.

However, it lacks damage and accuracy at long range, hence its position on the list.

4. RAPP H

The RAPP H has  the highest rate of fire of any LMG in Warzone 2, and that’s its main attraction. Like the 556 Icarus, the RAPP H is extremely versatile due to its rate of fire, but outperforms it in range, giving it an edge over Al Mazrah’s long-range scopes.

3. Sakin MG38

The Sakin MG38 garnered some attention in Season 1, becoming one of the top ranged options in Warzone 2. With great damage, range, and easily controlled recoil, the Sakin MG38 is a real monster.

Its biggest downside is mobility and handling, but these can be balanced out with the right attachments, and the massive 100-round base magazine more than makes up for it.

2. RAAL MG

Second, the RAAL MG  offers just about everything you could want in an LMG for Warzone 2. The RAAL MG has best-in-class damage and accuracy, which is important when fighting at long range.

With the right attachments, the RAAL also has a very smooth recoil which means you can stay on target with ease.

The best LMG in Warzone 2 is without a doubt the  RPK  , which can be a little tricky to unlock but well worth it thanks to its incredible versatility. Whether you want a heavy LMG or more of an assault rifle, the RPK can do both to please the player.

The RPK is something of a versatile weapon in Warzone 2, with an incredible balance in damage, range, rate of fire, accuracy, and recoil control, making it the best light machine gun in Warzone 2.
