Modern Warfare 3’s controversial Zombies mode

Modern Warfare 3  has brought back the fan-favorite Zombies mode, but…

Famous streamer NoahJ456 shared his opinion on this matter and called the story “mega boring.” The streamer continues to criticize the new Zombies, calling it “garbage” with “basic and generic” elements that don’t add “any mystery” to the fan-favorite mode. While this is his opinion, many players agreed, saying that “they took the worst thing they’ve ever done and added zombies to it” – likely referring to the DMZ.

On the other hand, some players did not agree with the streamer. They stated that the community doesn’t like the Zombies mode, which “can’t allow them to run around for hours on a small map” or have “a story that requires a PhD to understand.”

Since the introduction of DMZ last year, players seemed to enjoy the “bloody fun” additions, and now the addition of zombies to the mix looks like good news. Fans called the negative comments “unrealistic” as this version of Zombies is in a “non-Treyarch CoD” so won’t be a traditional mode.

What was originally a round-based co-op survival mode where you and a team of four gradually built up power, expanded the map, and perhaps attempted to complete an elaborate story with Easter eggs, has become something of a cross between Zombies and the new DMZ mode from last year’s version. While there will be plenty of stuff familiar to Zombies veterans, like Perk-a-Colas and mystery boxes, you won’t be able to rely on your old tactics anymore. Survival in the new zombie mode is a completely new game in  Call of Duty .
