Content creator B1inkin discovered a secret Hemlock .300 Blackout ISO buff in Warzone 2

While the ISO Hemlock only ranks in the middle at first glance, the right attachments turn it into a real monster.

Due to various nerfs in previous seasons, the popularity of the ISO Hemlock, which peaked in the second season of Realoded, quickly waned, and weapons like Cronen Squall or TAQ-V took their place as the most powerful weapons in the game.

But along with Season 5’s changes, it looks like one of his additions has received a secret buff allowing him to become a possible contender in the long-range meta of the game.

Based on sym.gg’s stats, creator B1inkin found that the secret Hemlock .300 Blackout ISO buff practically increases the weapon’s TTK speed to 872 milliseconds at 50 meters, surpassing the stock speed of 1000ms.

While this attachment used to have serious flaws, especially in recoil control, that can deter players from using it, the season 5 buff makes them less visible and turns the gun into a powerful laser beam with near-zero recoil.

“In previous seasons, the payoff in the Blackout round has been horrendous. I don’t know if they polished it, but they made adjustments to it and you should probably give it a try,” the creator explained before showing off his gear at the range, proving its surprisingly low recoil.

While this isn’t the first time a unique buff has allowed a weapon to return to viability, recent weapon changes have pushed ISO 45 and TAQ-V far above other weapons.

Unsurprisingly, after this ISO improvement, Hemlock is starting to slowly rise to the top of the best AR for Warzone 2 again and even claim the game’s meta.
