Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 Patch Notes

In the latest season of Call of Duty, players will be able to get their hands on four new multiplayer maps, as well as three new functional weapons that can be used on the battlefield.

This highly anticipated season of Activision’s hit shooter aims to bridge the gap with Modern Warfare 3.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 introduces  four new maps at launch  , as well as two mid-season updates to celebrate Halloween.

Among the new products, the developers are announcing two new maps for the Skirmish mode. Meanwhile, they have chosen El Asilo and the Embassy, ​​which will undergo some changes mid-season.

Event “Ghosts”

  • Drop Zone Fears  : In this version, players should be careful when opening crates, as the developers warn, “Who knows what might jump out at you.” Be prepared for some good scares.
  • Haunting Infected  : Infected players will appear as zombies.

Final prestige is level 1250.

  • In Season 06, the maximum prestige level will increase from 21 to 25, and the maximum level will be 1250. Reaching each new prestige rank provides several rewards, as well as a new badge in addition to the prestige number, as follows:

GAMEPLAY

Prepare for the arrival of the Ghosts in the DMZ

There are only a few weeks left until Ghosts, which means the demilitarized zone will also be plunged into darkness.

Everything in The Haunting for Battle Royale will be available in the DMZ, including Operation Nightmare; where you will have to face the horrors of the Hellmouth that opened in Al Mazra, and much more.

Players can now use their own tokens to trade in the DMZ. Hostages can no longer be dropped by dirt bikes. Hostages can now be taken out by controlled helicopters. Reduced the frequency of detection of killstreaks in loot. Surviving a hunting party contract now immediately grants the hunted unit a UAV.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue that resulted in the player not receiving event credit for running into enemies with LTV
  • Fixed an issue that caused the crown faction unlock requirement to be incorrectly required.
  • Fixed an issue where the notes menu would show inaccessible notes.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to set special weapons to Contraband in some cases. situations
  • Fixed an issue where helicopters chasing a train could appear empty in rare cases.
  • A number of mission descriptions have been corrected.

The Season 06 update download file size will be larger than regular seasonal updates as it includes all of the Season 06 content as well as preparation for the upcoming Modern Warfare III beta.

Note:  PC users will also need additional hard drive space for the patch copying process; This is only temporary space that is released after the patch installation is complete and is not an additional download.
