On this page, you can find all the power-ups available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022), including all new power-ups that will be released with additional seasonal updates.
Perks will return in Modern Warfare 2 and give your soldier special abilities on the battlefield. To choose your privileges, you need to go to the “Create Class” menu. There you will be able to choose the perks of each of the three levels. Mix and match to enhance your strengths or hide your weaknesses!
In Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, you can equip 4 different perks thanks to the new Perk Pack :
- 2 from the first level (basic)
- 1 from the second level (bonus)
- 1 from the third level (ultimate)
The Perk Pack featured in COD Modern Warfare 2 is a set of two base perks, a bonus perk and an ultimate perk that can be earned during a match.
By default, the Bonus Perk is earned four minutes after the start of the match, and the Ultimate Perk is earned eight minutes after the start of the match. These timers can be accelerated by earning points during the game (through kills, assists, objective play), every 10 points decrease the time by a second.
The following list includes all confirmed abilities available in 3 different ability slots for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer modes.
Power-ups will not be available in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 at launch.

1. Double time
Double the duration of the tactical sprint. Increase your crouch speed by 30%.
2. Battle Hardened
Reduce the effect of enemy flares, stuns, EMPs, gas grenades, and shock sticks. Immunity to frag grenades.
3. Scavenger
Replenish ammo and throw knives from dead players.
4. ORP
Take less damage from non-killstreak explosives. Reset fuse timers when picking up a live grenade.
5. Tracker
Enemies leave footprints behind them, and enemy death markers are visible. Kill markers are hidden from the enemy team.
6. Pitcher
Throw the equipment further and see the preview of the trajectory.
7. Optional Tactical
Spawn with additional Tactical .
8. Excess
Carry two primary weapons
9. Cold-blooded
Invisible to AI targeting systems and thermal imaging optics. Does not trigger a High Alert. Not highlighted in enemy tactical cameras, recon drones, and spotter scopes.
10. Focus
Reduces flinching when aiming and increases breath hold duration.
11. Quick Fix
Killing players immediately triggers health regeneration. Capturing and holding targets increases the rate of health regeneration.
12. Quick hands
Reload, use equipment and change weapons faster.
13. spotter
Find enemy gear, field upgrades, and killstreaks through walls. Aiming the sights makes them stand out for the team. Hack enemy claymores, proximity mines, C4s, and loot systems.
14. Restocking
Appears with additional Lethal . The equipment is recharged within 25 seconds.
15. High anxiety
Vision pulses when an enemy player spots him out of view.
16. Ghost
Not detected by UAVs, handheld radars and heart rate sensors.
17. Hard line
Reduce the cost of a kill streak by one (1) kill. Reduce the streak cost by 125.
18. Overclocking
Save the extra fee for field upgrades. Increase Field Upgrade charging speed by 40%. WHEN EARNING: Get paid for field upgrades.
19. Survivor
Upon death, enter “The Last Stand” with the ability to self-repair once per life. Teammates can revive downed players faster.
20. Bird’s eye view
The minimap has been reduced. UAV and radar signals show the direction of the enemy. ON WORK: Mark enemies on the minimap.
