Modern Warfare 3: Renetti has been seriously nerfed.

The Warzone development team has released a new update bringing much-requested changes to the Pistol .

The Renetti has been present in  Modern Warfare 3  since launch, becoming a hot topic over the past few weeks thanks to the included conversion kit that turns it into a powerful SMG to wreak havoc in multiplayer games and Warzone  matches  .

Since the Warzone Season 3 update, players have been constantly begging the developers to tackle the Renetti pistol, which has taken over the melee meta thanks to the powerful JAK Ferocrity loadout. The developers finally addressed this issue by significantly nerfing Renetti on April 10th.

In Post X, the Call of Duty team shared details of the Renetti nerf, so here are all the changes to the JAK Ferocity carbine set introduced in Warzone as of April 10:

  • Maximum damage reduced from 36 to 28.
  • Minimum damage reduced from 28 to 24.
  • Maximum damage range reduced from 17.52 to 12.44 meters.
  • Lower torso multiplier increased from 1x to 1.1x.
  • Weapon and brush multiplier increased from 1 to 1.1x.

The JAK Ferocity Carbine Kit effectively turns the Renetti into a powerful pistol/SMG hybrid, leading to its dominance in the melee meta, especially on Warzone’s Rebirth Island. However, this may no longer be the case thanks to these nerfs, which are expected to reduce Renetti’s short-range dominance.

Until now, the only weapon capable of competing with this powerful pistol was  the HRM-9  , which, despite its incredible damage and rate of fire, was still superior to the Renetti hybrid submachine gun.
