Modern Warfare 3: Best RAM-9 build (03/13/2024)
The RAM-9 quickly became one of the leaders in the SMG category and took its place as one of the best guns in MW3 as of Season 2. For Warzone, the RAM-9 is an ideal SMG paired with a long-range rifle or sniper weapon.
To unlock RAM-9, you must complete sector B6 on the season 2 battle pass map. It’s only two sectors from the start, so the fastest route is B1-B3-B6 , and you’ll only need 15 battle pass tokens to get there.
- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Retort 90 Grip Tape
- Stock: HVS 3.4 Pad
The ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider is great for recoil control and aim stability while slightly reducing ADS and bullet speed.
SL Skeletal Vertical Grip improves SMG control by improving ADS and the only real downside here is the impact on hipfire and tac stance.
The HVS 3.4 Pad reduces weapon recoil by 13%, making the RAM-9 much more controllable. We also get a slight improvement in horizontal and vertical recoil control, and the Retort 90 Grip Tape does the same while improving control.
The RAM-9 burns through 40 rounds fairly quickly , but this should be enough to get you through multiple opponents if you shoot straight.
Best Perks and Equipment:
The Ninja Vest is ideal due to its ability to eliminate footstep sounds. Stalker boots are extremely useful when you’re on the move and aiming down sights frequently, although lightweight boots, climbing boots, and running shoes are also useful if you prefer something else.
Ghost T/V Camouflage is an important perk as it hides you from enemy UAVs while you keep moving.
The Semtex is ideal for dealing some extra damage, while the flashbang is great for denying the enemy visibility and giving them enough time to secure a kill with the RAM-9 in hand. It’s hard to go wrong with this combination of gear.
The RAM-9’s damage per shot is slightly weaker than other weapons in its class, but since it has a higher rate of fire than most, it makes up for this shortcoming. No matter what mounts you choose to install on this weapon , you honestly can’t go wrong.
