Modern Warfare 3: Best MCW build for Warzone (03/08/24)

The MCW is a versatile and deadly assault rifle in Call of Duty:  Modern Warfare 3 . It has a basic 30-round magazine and a rate of fire that any player should be familiar and comfortable with. But what sets MCW apart is how much damage it can do, including all the necessary attachments, perks, and gear.

Low recoil assault rifles have always dominated, and with the MCW buff, the AR becomes one of the most popular options in the battle royale.

  • Muzzle:  VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel:  KR Midnight 13″ Barrel
  • Optic:  Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Underbarrel:  Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Magazine:  60 Round Drum

The VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor is an obvious choice since the MCW already has a great recoil design, it doesn’t need to rely on the JAK BFB. The VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor increases range, bullet speed, and slightly increases recoil. But if you want to significantly reduce the weapon’s recoil, as well as vertical and horizontal recoil, you can also choose the JAK BFB Muzzle.

The KR Midnight 13″ Barrel reduces the recoil that our muzzle already absorbs in exchange for higher damage than other barrels and a slight increase in mobility.

As a final upgrade to our stability, we have the Bruen Heavy Support Grip , which greatly improves control so we’re less likely to miss.

The Corio  Eaglesye 2.5x  is one of the best optics for assault rifles, providing a clear sight for hitting enemies at long ranges.

Finally,  the 60 Round Drum  is essential when dealing with players with full armor plates, although you can swap it out for a 40 round magazine if you want to increase movement speed, ADS, and reload speed.

In order for this class to work, it is important to choose the right perks for our Warzone loadout. Some perks work much better than others, especially in the current Warzone meta, so creating a solid combo isn’t that difficult. Double Time and Resolute are in the first and fourth slots. Double Time increases your tactical sprint speed and refreshes your strength, while Resolute increases your movement speed when being shot at. Together, they provide us with much-needed mobility. On the other hand, Battle Hardened and Tempered will help us increase survivability. Tempered is locked in the third slot as the best perk, so don’t change it. However, you can swap Battle-Scarred for EOD if you prefer resistance to explosives.
