Hardcore will officially appear in the second season of Modern Warfare 2
According to the Call of Duty team, the developers want to make major changes based on community feedback. When it comes to Modern Warfare 2 ‘s modes , ranked play and the tried and true hardcore mode were at the top of the wish list.
Luckily, it looks like both of them will be coming to Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 2 update.
On January 22, Infinity Ward confirmed that “Hardcore is back!” A base mode with a limited HUD and less health will debut in Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2.
Hardcore mode is a staple of the Call of Duty games and has appeared in every game since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
While we’ll have to wait for a detailed blog to come out during the week of January 23rd, it looks like the traditional hardcore experience that CoD players know and love is coming to Modern Warfare’s second season.
