Cronen Squall for Warzone 2: Best Build
This semi-automatic battle rifle is “designed for long-range shooting and exceptional damage.” Using the right gear with these weapons will ensure that you can dominate the competition.
Assembly:
- Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel
- Muzzle: Sakin Thread-40
- Optics: OP-V4 objective
- Under barrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
- Store: drum for 50 rounds
We chose the HR6.8 barrel , which offers a welcome increase in both damage range and bullet speed, making the combat rifle extremely effective at long range.
We then added the Sakin Tread-40 for improved horizontal and vertical recoil control, keeping the Cronen on target during sustained fire. We paired this with an AIM OP-V4 optic that doesn’t take up too much screen.
Next up is the Lockgrip Precision 40 , which further improves recoil stability by turning a new weapon into a laser beam in Season 3’s “Reboot”. Lastly, we recommend a 50-round drum so you can deal with multiple enemies before stopping and reloading.

Overkill allows you to equip other primary weapons to protect you in close combat, such as the Lachmann or the VEL 46. Fast Hands then makes sure you can quickly switch between them so you always have the right weapon at hand.
Finally, Ghost is needed to keep you away from enemies in sight. In terms of gear, we recommend flashbang grenades to disorientate players, as well as drilling rounds to knock enemies out of cover.
Cronen Squall can be unlocked for free in the Warzone 2 Season 3 Battle Pass by completing Sector C11 .
If you’re looking for battle rifles but Cronen Squall isn’t the right choice, the Lachmann -762 does a lot of damage at long range. If you are looking for something more like an assault rifle, you can try the TAQ-56 .
