Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will get a new respawn map in mid-2023 – rumors

Leaker Ghost of Hope revealed on Twitter that Beenox and Toys for Bob are developing a respawn map for Warzone 2.0 . It is reportedly scheduled for release in mid-2023. Infinity Ward and Raven Software are also involved, with the former “leading the narration” and the latter “consulting on gameplay ideas”.

Resurgence is somewhat different from the battle royale. The map is smaller, there is no Gulag. Allies respawn after a period that increases with each new safe zone. Score kills have reduced the respawn timer, but any team that loses allies will be exposed to all enemies. It is a more tense and dynamic experience that rewards aggression.

Rumor has it that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will receive a paid card pack at the end of 2023, including cards from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and previous games in the series. It will presumably also have new campaign content. Stay tuned for more details.
