Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 DMZ mode briefly about the main thing.

Interactive map of Al Mazra

In the DMZ, your goal is simple: survive. Gather materials, earn reputation with other factions, and make it out of Al Mazra alive.

DMZ is a royale extraction mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 , free for all players.  All players are taken to Al Mazrah and have limited time to gather supplies, complete faction missions, and defeat AI bosses before being extracted. In this mode, you are given one life.  Don’t waste it.

I honestly didn’t like the DMZ mode in Call of duty at first, but after running around and understanding in more detail the main aspects, and other things connected with this mode, I began to enjoy it. But this mode requires clarification and understanding, both for beginners of this game and for experienced players in the classic Battle Royale. So before you play, you need to understand it

The DMZ is offering exclusive rewards for MW2 and Warzone fans, including weapon blueprints and brand new weapon platforms.  At the time of DMZ launch, the M13B assault rifle can only be unlocked by playing that mode or by purchasing the M13 weapon blueprint from the in-game store.
Here is everything a player needs to know about the DMZ mode, let’s start with the basics of this mode. DMZ is essentially a mode, the purpose of which is to get as much loot and money as possible, which you can eventually convert into your experience on the entire account, that is, warzone, if you have a full-fledged purchased game, the experience gained in the DMZ also applies to it.
Obvious facts say that this mode was peeped from such a popular game as Escape from Tarkov, both the hud and the interface indicate this before loading. There is a key holder here, which is very similar to Tarkov’s, this is a place to store keys, which is logical. Weaponyou can insure in the cell on top of the interface before the match, there can be 3 such insurances in total. At the beginning, 1 is open as you complete the task, the remaining ones open, if you lose a weapon, it will return to you within 2 hours according to the standard, and will not disappear, as is often the case in Tarkov. You can see the timer itself in the lobby or in the main menu. But this time can be gradually reduced if you throw money into the cache. The stashes look like trash bins, where you need to drop equipment items and cash, thanks to this you will reduce the overall recharge timer of your weapon insurance cell.

What also makes the DMZ related to Tarkov is the limited number of evacuations and the limited quality of the exit time, which is shown as a timer on your screen, the exits themselves are made in the form of a helicopter. If one team flew away on it, then the exit does not disappear, at this exit after a certain time you can re-call the evacuation, but it is important to understand that after the timer expires, the traditional zone begins to grow until 3 evacuation zones of the site are blocked. But even then it’s not the end.
The game provides a last opportunity to escape from the remote 4th extraction point on the map, where the helicopter will be waiting for you for approximately one minute. Everyone around will rush to this evacuation, since this is essentially the last chance, as a rule, the hottest cops begin when everyone is in a hurry for the last evacuation.
Here a few words should be said about the loot system in this mode. It has been changed, here you can loot jackets (just like at the factory in Tarkov), you can also loot refrigerators, lockers, trash cans (of course, where without them) and other places with loot, which can be absolutely anywhere on the map. And there are keys in jackets, and here they play an important important role. The keys open certain closed places on the maps, as a rule, there is good loot. On each key, you can see a marking that shows which key is suitable for what. There are also bots, a lot of bots. There are no civilians here, unlike Tarkov. Everyone wants to destroy you, and the bots themselves are very different from each other in terms of armor and weapons. You can safely shoot at bots without being afraid to hit your teammates. You do not inflict damage on them.
Unlike the warzone, there is a unique technique here that you will not find in the classic Battle Royale. For example, an armored pickup truck, bots drive around on it all over the map. He may appear on the road or near it. But what DMZ has in common with Tarkov is the idea of taking out loot. You have a backpack that can be filled with all kinds of inventory. But the loot and its price can be completely different. Loot can be either sold in the store, or simply taken out of the zone.

With regards to loot, as is common in most modern games, expensive items are marked in orange, ordinary items are gray. You can also take out weapons that are selected from corpses or from boxes. When you take it out, this weapon is marked as contraband. The smuggling itself cannot be customized in any way; it can only be put to live in a cache, which is specially provided for it here. In total, you can put 20 trunks.
Now let’s talk about the PvE component of the DMZ. First of all, PvE is of course a quest and operations. Everything here is tied to them. For operations, you will receive in-game rewards that can later be used in Warzone.
In addition to the quests that are still in the regular warzone, new ones have also been added: hunting for a squad – designed to meet with those few players who spawned with you on the map, liquidation – here gives the task of killing a particularly important target (these are bosses that are not particularly difficult to kill) they also drop special items. In a raid on a weapon storage, you need to steal weapons, which is logical. Destruction of supplies – implies the same thing as it is written in the title. And there is also the capture of radioactive materials using the Geiger counter, in this quest you need to detect certain loot using your Geiger counter (a simulator of a treasure trove, so to speak). And there is also the rescue of the hostage, which must first be cleared of mines, and then taken to the place of evacuation, by the way, you can fly away from the map with him if there is such a desire. The task of cargo delivery,
The game also has operations, these are tasks that you need to choose before landing on the map. In total, you can take no more than 3 quests for a task. Each of the quests is unique and requires certain actions. For example, in one of the tasks of the Legion, you need to capture the air defense, then fire a salvo of missiles at the plane, from which a certain box falls out.
The tasks can be completely different, you can see their progress by clicking on the map button, and the operations themselves are divided into missions of three factions. These are the Legion, the White Lotus and the Dark Protocol. These factions also have stages, respectively, by completing the main task of each stage, you open the final tasks.

In the stages you get a variety of goodies, in the form of skins and other things connected with this. Also in the mode there are places that deserve special attention. For example, a task with a chemist, this is a radioactive zone that is marked on the map with a round yellow zone, there are reinforced bots in this zone, and you can’t live there without gas, the gas trucks themselves fall out of the bots and without it it will be extremely difficult, since health will quickly fall down to zero. The boss fight itself is quite difficult, but the reward is worth it. From it you can knock out a unique weapon m-13 b (this is an assault rifle), which you can also use later both in the warzone and in the network game. The only condition with it is to evacuate from the map and then this weapon will be available to you on an ongoing basis.
Another place that deserves attention is the place where you can take out the weapon box. This location is home to a Juggernaut with a copious amount of bots. When you kill the juggernaut and his friends, you need to pick up a box from him. Having picked it up, you become visible on the map for all living players. Your task is to evacuate with this box. This is quite difficult, as many people will try to interfere with you and take it away.
In each new launched DMZ, there will be a new such box, in total there can be 7 rewards from this box. One of these awards is just the RPK skin, the rest is mainly emblems, decorative skins and so on.

Summing up, I’ll say that it feels like players who play here are much weaker than typical average players from the warzone, for that PvE PvE mode.
With regards to significant differences from the same warzone, you need to understand that the Gulag is not here, however, it is possible to revive a teammate even if he has been finished off, it will just take you longer to do this than to raise a wounded teammate.
In many citadels, you need to look for passes. And yes, I completely forgot to mention, on the map you appear in a completely random section of the map.
In general, it is felt that the DMZ has become a test site for PvE for Activision, at least on this scale, the DMZ mode is interesting, but it is clear that it needs to be heavily finished. However, as often happens, there is a certain layer of people to whom warzone 2.0 itselfdidn’t go in, but on the contrary, I liked the DMZ, and these guys here can get a certain buzz from the DMZ.

In the DMZ, your goal is simple: survive. Gather materials, earn reputation with other factions, and make it out of Al-Mazrah alive.
