Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded Patch Notes: Start Date, New Weapons, Resurgence Squad Sizes & More

Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded start date and time

The Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded update will release on  Wednesday, March 15, 2023  . The Season 2 Battle Pass timer expires on April 11, and as the name suggests, the Mid-Season Update will release around the middle of each season.

This means there will be a four-week hiatus between the start of Season 2 and the mid-season update, and players can expect the patch to go live at  9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM GMT.

Activision has announced a start time of 9:00 AM PT, but be aware that daylight saving time will come into play for those outside of North America.

Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded marks the debut of the new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle. Players can unlock Tempus Torrent  by getting 25 double kills with marksman rifles  .

While this will be quite a challenge in Warzone 2, those with Modern Warfare 2 can complete this challenge in multiplayer matches. The Tempus Torrent bundle will also be available for purchase.

The Tempus Torrent will join the ISO Hemlock assault rifle and KV Broadside shotgun as one of five new weapons released during Season 2.

The developers of Warzone 2 have confirmed that Reloaded Season 2 will feature all unit sizes for the first time since the launch of the new Rebirth map on Ashika Island. This means solos, duos, trios, and squads will be available until the end of Season 2.

So far, the weekly playlist update has added one mode and removed another, causing great frustration for those who can’t always find enough players to fill a team.

While this will no doubt come as a relief to anyone who enjoys enjoying Ashika Island on their own, the developers’ tweet only confirmed that all squad sizes will be available “until the end of the season.”

So, we’ll have to wait and see what Resurgences playlists will be available in Season 3 and beyond.

Single shot sniper rifles can also hit Al Mazra in Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded. The developers have confirmed that this feature will appear in the second season, but as part of a separate playlist.

Since the launch of Warzone 2, sniper rifles have not had the ability to kill players with a single headshot, and fans have been calling for changes to be made to make the weapon category more viable.

Unfortunately, the developers have confirmed that there are currently no plans to introduce this mechanic into regular Battle Royale or Spawn modes.

Warzone 2 players can breathe a sigh of relief as the developers have promised to nerf the powerful KV Broadside Shotgun.

Since the start of Season 2, players have been begging to nerf the broken Broadside HF and its Dragon’s Breath ammo. The damage of the KV Broadside Shotgun will be reduced when the Season 2 Reloaded update releases on March 15th.

Additional buffs and weapon nerfs are sure to come along with the update, so we’ll keep you up to date with all the changes in Season 2 of Reboot.

The Warzone 2 bomber drone killstreak will be removed from battle royale with the Season 2 Reloaded update.

The developers say the removal of the bomber drone is temporary while they “explore additional balance options for this killstreak.”

The water in Al Masra will turn green and rainbows will appear on the Warzone 2 map in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded will introduce a St. Patrick’s Day celebration in a battle royale. As you can see in the image above, not only will the St. Patrick’s Day pack be available in the store, but Al Mazra will also be getting some changes, including green water and lots of rainbows.
