Warzone 2 Season 2 DMZ Update
The developers seem interested in supporting this mode by adding the Building 21 location, with the Season 1 Reloaded update, and even hosting a DMZ tournament. Players can expect even more content.
In a January 21st tweet, Infinity Ward confirmed that the DMZ will be receiving new content throughout Season 2. “New missions, new exclusion zone and difficulty setting,” the developers wrote. “Get ready for the DMZ Season 02 update with our in-depth blog next week.”
The new missions will give players new objectives and rewards, and we expect the new exclusion zone, the area you enter, to be a small Rebirth map, also coming with the Season 2 update.
Whether or not players need to look for an access key similar to Building 21 remains to be seen, but DMZ players will have at least a new area to explore.
Players also called for a difficulty setting. Since the DMZ is a trio-only mode, players find it too difficult to play solo due to the sheer number of bots and their accuracy, but we’ll have to wait and see what customization updates they have planned.
