Warzone 2 map Ashika Island Resurgence release date.
The developers have unveiled a brand new Resurgence map coming to Warzone 2 and it will be called Ashika Island. The first ever Resurgence map for Warzone 2 will arrive with the February 15, 2023 Season 2 Update .
Warzone 2 Ashika Island Spawn Map & POI
Warzone 2’s upcoming Ashika Island Respawn map was officially unveiled on January 31, 2023, featuring a grassy island with landmarks such as Tsuki Castle, Ashika Port, City Center, and Beach Club.
Here are all the POI names:
- Residential
- Shipwreck
- Tsuki Castle
- Port of Ashika
- City center
- Farms Oganikku
- beach club
The new Resurgence map will hold around 50 players and will also feature in the DMZ, it will not be used as a multiplayer map in Modern Warfare 2 .

Leaks have suggested that the new Ashika Island map will be introduced to the DMZ, and this has been confirmed by the developers: “Take a look at Call of Duty Warzone2’s new free-to-play small map with Resurgence and DMZ gameplay on February 15th.”
In their blog announcing the major changes coming to Warzone 2, Infinity Ward revealed that a “new exclusion zone” will be coming to Warzone 2.
DMZ players will be able to travel to the new Resurgence map, which should have their own missions.
