Warzone 2 Loadout Drops are finally back.

On December 20, Warzone 2 developers announced that gear drops have returned to the battle royale in the form of grenades. This item can be found at buy stations in Al Mazra, and will deliver Warzone’s traditional custom gear with weapons, perk packs, and gear.

This came a day after the December 19th update reduced the cost of the primary weapon to $2,500 from $5,000. It looks like the developers are hard at work on changes to Warzone 2 before the holidays.

The developers also stated that “the continuity of this feature will depend on the feedback we receive and the overall impact on the Battle Royale experience.”

This is just a temporary feature though.

Players will certainly be pleased with the return of a much-requested feature, the cost of dropping cargo in Warzone 2 has increased significantly outside of Solos. In the original Warzone, equipment drops cost players $10,000 regardless of squad size.

  • Solo:  $8,000
  • Duets:  $16,000
  • Trio:  $24,000
  • Fours:  $32,000

In Warzone 2, squad size is a factor, and with each member, the cost of the loadout increases by $8,000.
