Warzone 2 gas mask problem is back
Warzone 2 players are no stranger to bizarre glitches that appear during matches and have many strange effects on their gameplay, such as giving them free wins in the Gulag and making them invisible after being hit by a car.
Some of these crashes cause minor inconvenience, while others can cost players their winnings. Now the Warzone 2 community is concerned that the notorious gas mask glitch could be back in Season 3 Reboot
Gas mask glitches are something CoD Warzone players have experienced before, including one in Warzone 2 that allowed players to roam the gas without causing harm for as long as they wanted.
Reddit user “Nintendo_Pro_03” shared a short clip showing Warzone 2 gameplay of the streamer known as “OP Marked” and it showed them stuck in gas while their teammate constantly revived them. Meanwhile, the enemy was able to survive all this time even though the map was covered in gas. Redditor has expressed concern that the gas mask glitch is back in Warzone 2, a sentiment shared by several other players in the thread.
One user commented, “For context, they turned on the drone and didn’t find the guy. After everyone died, the guy won and ended up on Zaya’s glass roof. Not anywhere near the safe. Definitely a gas mask glitch. However, not everyone was convinced that this was the result of a gas mask malfunction, and many players began to speculate about what might have caused this. One theory was that the enemy player was dead, but there was a glitch in the Gulag when the game registered him as alive.
This theory was debunked by several commentators who claimed that the enemy player’s stream showed him placing fourth at his end and was showing Al Mazra and not Gulag. One of the players stated: “On his stream, he was the fourth in the match. But from the OP Marked side, he was still alive. This game is a joke.” They decided that a strange glitch was awarding the victory to the player who was actually in fourth place. One user who was able to watch the winner’s broadcast stated: “There are bugs in the game. The supposed place of the winner in his stream was fourth, so something happened.”
Not everyone agreed on exactly what happened, so it’s hard to confirm which theory is correct. However, many share the view that there has been a glitch and criticize Warzone 2 for being “fucking buggy”.
