The Haunting, Zombie Royale, Vondead: events in Warzone 2 Season 6 Reloaded
Ahead of the release of Modern Warfare 3 on November 10, the current version of Warzone said goodbye with the Season 6 Reloaded update. This final season offers a variety of Halloween-inspired skins in the Battle Pass, as well as the addition of some spooky characters as Operators.
Warzone 2 Season 6 Reloaded is scheduled for October 17, 2023 , with updates typically becoming available around 9:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET/5:00 pm BST .
As reported on the CoD Blog, Season 6 of Warzone 2 Reloaded will feature the Soul Capture event, which is a return of the Trophy Hunt event from Season 3.
Killing players will drop souls, increasing the total in various modes, which can be exchanged for exclusive items in the Events tab. Collect more souls as you take on opponents across Warzone maps and unlock themed rewards as you redeem them.
In The Haunting: Operation Nightmare of Warzone 2, you’ll experience noticeable changes to Al Mazra as it transforms into a nighttime version to get into the spirit of the Halloween season.
During this operation, players will go on exciting adventures, hunt creepy creatures, explore mysterious places, destroy targets and complete tasks to earn exclusive prizes, including a unique weapon blueprint.
A limited-time Zombie Royale mode returns to Warzone 2 The Haunting, including new features and classic elements from previous versions.
In this mode, destroyed Operators do not end up in the Gulag, but turn into zombies . At the same time, they gain unique abilities by hunting living Operators. To become human again, players must find and use syringes around the map.
The Vondel Map in Resurgence will undergo a nighttime transformation and will be renamed ” Vondead “. In this updated Vondead map, players will face a zombie outbreak in a changed environment with burning vehicles, destroyed shops and various creepy additions.
This new map will reveal the presence of demonic altars in the area, which appear to grant power to supernatural events. These altars are associated with the infamous character known as “The Butcher” from the Diablo IV universe.
Warzone 2’s limited-time mode Vondel Lockdown will return in Warzone 2 Season 6 Reloaded, showcasing a Halloween-themed appearance .
This limited-time mode is based on Season 4’s Objective Lockdown mode, in which teams can use their own equipment and score points by capturing certain areas, similar to Hardpoint’s multiplayer mode.
As part of the Halloween season, The Haunting event in Season 6 Reloaded will bring a variety of Operator crossovers to Warzone 2. These crossovers will feature characters from your favorite TV shows, movies, comics, and more.
