Stronghold in Warzone 2 and DMZ. All locations
Warzone 2 sought to develop Warzone 1 in some major ways, and one of them was the inclusion of Strongholds and AI. Strongholds are NPC-controlled locations that offer free gear, high-level loot, and UAVs.
Although there are many such fortresses around Al Mazra, only five will be available at a time (Battle Royale). This means being the first to arrive is mostly down to luck, but you can improve your chances by knowing the location of the Stronghold. Here’s where to find all fortresses in Warzone 2.
There are 77 possible strongholds in Warzone 2 , and five will appear after the first round is over. You will be able to spot them from the Al-Qatala flags flying outside, but the doors will be locked.
The Best Landing Spots for Strongholds in Warzone 2
While it’s impossible to know where Warzone 2 Strongholds will spawn, there are certain areas you can visit to maximize your chances of being near them when they’re activated.
In order to be close to the Stronghold when they spawn in Al Mazra in Warzone 2, we recommend landing at:
- Al Mazra City
- Akhdar village
- Sava village
- Sattik Cave Complex
All of these locations have a high concentration of strongholds, so we recommend landing there if you hope to get your gear and bonuses as soon as possible.
Similarly, areas like the Cemetery probably won’t be worth your time, as the nearest spawn is Sava Village.
