Soul Capture Event: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone are celebrating Halloween with The Haunting update, and the Soul Capture event offers free rewards.
The Soul Capture event in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 began with The Haunting update on October 17, 2023 . The Soul Capture event is set to last until November 5, 2023 , according to the in-game event menu, which counts down 19 days from day one.
The Soul Capture event occurs across all Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 game modes during The Haunting, so you’ll be able to collect souls no matter which mode you prefer. The developers said that you can “increase the number of souls captured by fighting various monsters lurking across Call of Duty: Warzone maps . “
Warzone and DMZ players will appreciate that souls are automatically added to your total, and this time you don’t have to bring them to the buy station.
There are 12 event rewards that players will be able to earn during the Soul Capture event, with six more coming later on October 24th .

- Double Weapon XP Token (30 minutes) – 30 souls

- Beat Roots (Charm) – 60 souls
- “Carved Up” (weapon sticker) – 60 souls
- “Creature Helicopter” (car skin) – 90 souls
- Battle Pass Tier Skip – 90 Souls
- Alien Death Ray (gun blueprint) – 150 souls
- “Violent End” (weapon blueprint) – 200 souls
Additionally, by unlocking 10 and 15 items listed below, you will receive an exclusive Mastery Reward . Here are all the available rewards for Soul Capture Mastery:
- Operator Rose “Treat” Skin – Unlock any 10 items in the “Phantom Soul Capture” event.
- Operator Konig Tricks Skin – Unlock any 15 items in the Phantom Soul Trap event.
