Rumors: Modern Warfare 3 reveals all perks, gloves and boots

Modern Warfare 3’s release date is set for November 10, 2023, and players have already been given a wealth of information about the content carried over from MW2, as well as the weapons, story missions, and maps expected for the game’s multiplayer.

While MW3 promises to bring community-requested changes such as the return of the classic minimap, the abolition of slides, and an increase in TTK, there are also some new mechanics and features.

One of the more interesting changes said to be coming to Modern Warfare 3 is the new gear perk system, which, according to leaks, allows players to select gear such as boots and gloves that represent specific perks.

Boots :

  • Canvas Sneakers:
    • ““Eliminates the sounds of footsteps.”
  • Stalker Boots:
    • “Increased strafe and ADS movement speed.”
  • Tactical Pads:
    • “Increases sliding distance and allows full ADS to be used while sliding. Increases the speed of transition into a rack and the speed of movement in a squat.”
  • Ultra Light Boots:
    • “Increases movement and swimming speed. Reduces noise while swimming.”
  • Running Sneakers:
    • “Increases tactical sprint duration and reduces recovery time.”
  • Climbing Boots:
    • “The rate of climb and ascent has been increased. Reduces fall damage

There are also six perk perks for Modern Warfare 3. When it comes to gloves, many of these benefits are related to the player’s hands, so all the classic perks like fast hands and resupply can be found here.

Gloves :

  • Assault Gloves  :
    • “During the jump, ADS accuracy and response time improve.”
  • Custom Gloves:
    • “Increased weapon change speed.”
  • Scavenger Gloves:
    • “Replenish ammo and throwing knives from dead players.”
  • Special gloves:
    • “Throw the equipment further. Resetting the fuse timer for thrown back grenades.
  • Tactical Combat Gloves:
    • “Allows reloading while sprinting.”
  • Shooting gloves:
    • “Reduced swaying and flinching when using ADS.”

If these leaks are true, it’s safe to say that other Gear Perk categories will also have six variants, and they too will have benefits that may be associated with the body part they will be equipped on. However, it is important to take these leaks with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed.
