How many people play Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2
The sixth season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 introduces a lot of new content to players, such as the new Spawn Operator skin and new weapons such as the TR-76 Geist, ISO 9mm and Dual Kamas.

According to SteamCharts , Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 averaged 55,370 players over the past 30 days, with an all-time peak of 488,897 players as of October 2023.
While Warzone 2 doesn’t have an in-game display showing the total number of players, Activision reported that the Call of Duty game reached 25 million players just five days after launch.
While the SteamCharts website provides accurate statistics on the total number of players, it is impossible to say exactly how many people are playing Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on other platforms.
When the Modern Warfare 2 beta first went live, it set new records for player engagement in the Call of Duty series. Since Warzone 2 is completely free to play, a large number of players were able to play it immediately when it was released on November 16, 2022.
On SteamCharts, we can also compare Call of Duty’s numbers to other popular shooters such as Apex Legends, Counter-Strike 2, and Rainbow Six Siege.
When it comes to the popularity of these four games, it’s easy to see that CS2 and Dota 2 lead the way with over 500,000 players per day. However, in eleventh position is Call of Duty, just above Unturned.
