Rumor has it that the upcoming “reputation” system will be AI friendly in the Warzone 2 DMZ.
The AI has gone through a lot of changes since launch in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 , as the developers try to find the right balance between making it strong without being overwhelming. This has also been the case in the DMZ , where players are most likely to encounter AI outside of MW2 raids and the campaign.
There are many AI factions to deal with in the DMZ, and the AI forces can be easily suppressed. However, according to the leaks, the developers are working on a new “reputation” system to ease the pressure of AI attacks on the player in the DMZ.
Call of Duty Task Force Leakers 141 leaders posted a message on Twitter revealing “future DMZ content” based on a code added to the game in the second season of Reloaded.
Supposedly, Task Force Leakers 141 are developing a new “faction reputation and trust system” where players can find “barter contracts” that allow them to “build reputation with each faction”.
In addition, according to the leak, this new reputation system will also affect the purchase of stations, as there will be different rewards depending on your reputation with the faction.
Ultimately, the basic idea is that depending on your relationship with the factions, they will either be “hostile/friendly” towards the player, depending on their “reputation and actions”.
We’ll have to wait and see how accurate these leaks are as future DMZ updates are announced and released.
