Rebirth Island: What are Infil Strikes?

Activision showed a trailer for the third season of  Call of Duty: Warzone , which is scheduled to start on April 3. The video was dedicated to the “Renaissance Island” location, which will return to the battle royale for the first time since the original

Following the official announcement of the map, the developers confirmed the addition of the Infil Strikes feature, which should bring dynamic events to Warzone’s Rebirth Island.

Infil Strikes in Warzone are “a set of  dynamic events  that  will randomly change one of three possible points of interest  at the very beginning of the match.” Infil Strikes will debut  later in Season 3  , offering players “unique rotation and movement capabilities.”

Raven Software stated that the Rebirth Island map “remains true to the original experience” and clarified that “most matches will remain unchanged.”

Warzone’s Rebirth Island will feature random  dynamic events across three of its iconic POIs  , including the fan-favorite Prison, as well as the inclusion of water mechanics and more.

Ruined prison

As seen in the Warzone Season 3 trailer, the Prison  can be destroyed  , leaving additional access points behind along with debris scattered throughout. This POI is located in the center of the map and offers players a compact area to fight. Once reopened, the field is likely to become even more risky and busy.

Underwater system

While this change may not seem as significant as the destruction of the Prison, the remastered version of Rebirth Island will feature an  underwater system  that is expected to allow players to navigate certain regions without the risk of exposure on land.

Lighthouse destruction

Another area that is affected by dynamic events is the Lighthouse, which can be taken out and parts of its surroundings destroyed. Similar to the Prison, they will allow players to explore other approaches to the area and perhaps spice things up.
