Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 November 1st Patch Notes.
Following the launch of the spooky event and following the latest update which included a surprising weapon balance, the CoD developers released a new update on November 1st with more bug fixes to improve the overall experience.
GLOBAL
ERROR CORRECTION
- This update includes several fixes for known issues.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the “Select Online Profile” message to get stuck.
- Fixed an issue where the player could be taken to the main menu when attempting to access the campaign through the New Game option.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Skeleton Operator’s staff to move relative to his hands when using a finishing move.
- Fixed an exploit in The Embassy that would cause the area to have no collisions, allowing players to hide in an unintended location during the Zombie Infestation.
- Fixed an issue where the Alien Death Ray weapon blueprint had an attachment combination that was not possible with the normal setup.
- Fixed an issue where the ADS view was hidden from third person when using the Lilith operator.
- Fixed an issue that prevented high-velocity projectiles from hitting enemies under the surface of the water.
- Fixed an issue where some weapon preview screens would display the wrong menu.
- Fixed an issue where navigating the Groups menu would return players to the main menu.
- Fixed an issue where players’ soul totals could be displayed incorrectly after purchasing rewards in the Events tab.
- Fixed an issue where confirming the language setting in the main menu could cause an error.
- Fixed several issues that could cause an error when navigating the Battle Pass.
- Fixed an issue where the Tempus Razorback “Hellspawn” weapon blueprint menu would display the wrong optics.
- Fixed an issue where the Sakin MG38 “Treat” weapon blueprint was missing a visible smoke effect.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when quickly entering and exiting the Killstreak page in the Weapons tab .
- Fixed an issue where quickly entering and exiting the emblem page could kick the player out of the menu.
- Fixed an issue where the Soap operator name was not displayed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where an error could occur when attempting to load a private Team Deathmatch match upon delivery.
- Fixed an issue where the player could lose control of their Killstreak if eliminated while using Killstreak.
- Fixed an issue where players could experience screen freezes during the Battle Pass introductory video on some new accounts.
- Fixed an issue where Juggernauts would sometimes not appear during the final fight in Episode 04 of the Atomgrad Raid.
- Fixed an issue where the M4 “Union Guard” weapon blueprint would display a placeholder image in the combat details widget.
- Fixed an issue where some weapon blueprints would display a placeholder image in the combat details widget.
- Fixed an issue that caused a placeholder image to appear in the HUD when the player was destroyed by an MRAP turret.
- The brightness of the “Flow Through” camouflage has been adjusted.

ADJUSTMENTS
- The total number of possible active duty operator slots in the DMZ has been increased.
- Reduced the number of incentives dropped by minions during the Butcher fight.
ERROR CORRECTION
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from correctly obtaining the Undead Runes sticker.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to store multiple weapons while transporting a hostage.
- Fixed some collision and geolocation issues in Vondead.
- Fixed an issue where money dropped from the Butcher had an incorrect increment.
- Fixed an issue where a swamp creature could attack players during exit after winning a match.
- Fixed a bug where when exchanging for a disguise at a scavenger buy station, the disguise would only give 0% (disappears when taking any health damage).
- Fixed an issue where chalkboards would not display the correct letter when using the R4D detector in building 21.
- Fixed an issue where players could avoid being attacked by a UFO if they have the Cold Blooded perk.
- Fixed an issue where Swamp Thing could respawn in gas after completing an event in the DMZ.
- Fixed an issue where reviving a player who requested assistance in the DMZ after a squad was destroyed could result in issues completing the resurrection.
- Fixed an issue where selecting multiple active duty operators in the DMZ could cause the screen to flicker on the operator selection screen.
- Fixed an issue where a red light could briefly appear when logging into LTV.
- Fixed an issue where opening a Scavenger Buy Station in the DMZ after destroying it could result in the player accessing an unintended Buy Station menu.
- Fixed an issue where Captain Silver’s Briefcase could not be opened in the DMZ.
