Modern Warfare 3 perks will be added to the battle royale
During the interview, Raven Software Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins confirmed that the development team will be adding Modern Warfare 3 perks to Warzone’s battle royale mode.
On October 11, during an Xbox On interview, Ted Timmins, senior creative director at Raven Software, confirmed that the next version of Warzone Urzikstan would carry over a number of Modern Warfare 3 perks that would be “suitable for Battle Royale.”
In addition, Timmins explained how the development team is committed to introducing new features to Warzone as well as ensuring they are innovative, which he described as bringing a “new freshness” to the game.
Additionally, he also shared that when creating new perks for Warzone, part of the design philosophy is that they need to be divisive, otherwise “everyone is using the same perk and it’s really boring.”
To achieve this, the team is trying to “tailor them to different types of players and their motivations”, ensuring that players in the game can find “real variety in interaction”.
While no details have been revealed about exactly which perks will be added from Modern Warfare 3 to Warzone, it is expected that they will likely receive some changes to adapt to the needs of a mode like Battle Royale.
