One shot one kill. Warzone 2 in season 4
Warzone 2 Season 3 brought back its One Shot capabilities, but only in certain situations and with the correct builds, and the feature was carried over to Season 4 Reloaded.
To be able to one-shot enemies with a sniper rifle in Warzone 2, you need to equip your weapon with explosive ammunition and headshot .
Explosive ammo gives each rifle the damage boost it needs to pierce a fully armored enemy and knock them down with a single headshot. However, it also has some drawbacks, including loss of bullet velocity, making shots less accurate at longer ranges.
As mentioned in the Warzone 2 blog, sniper rifles with One Shot capability have been given to heavy bolt action rifles. At the time of writing, four sniper rifles have explosive ammunition as an option; MCPR-300, Victus XMR, Signal 50 and Intervention, also known as FJX Imperium.
However, in Season 4, players discovered a glitch that gives the SP-X 80 the ability to kill in one shot. This was a groundbreaking discovery, and it still holds true in Season 4 Reloaded, as the light and mobile rifle can kill players in one shot thanks to .300 Incendiary rounds.
