Warzone 2 DMZ Season 5 Updates
The release date for the Warzone 2 DMZ Season 5 update is set for Wednesday, August 2nd. Players can expect the update to arrive at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST.
The developers confirmed that the battle between the factions will continue to rage in Season 5: “Both sides will fight tooth and nail, causing a series of killings in the so-called active war zones.
Plus, Shadow Company is on your side in Season 5 of the DMZ. The Season 5 roadmap blog confirms that Shadow Company “will not be the first to attack any Operator in any DMZ exclusion zone and will fight alongside you in our battle against Connie.”
Warzone 2 players will have several new features to discover in the DMZ when the Season 5 update goes live. Let’s start with two new vehicles: the MRAP , a massive truck designed for heavy combat, and an off-road motorcycle , perfect for speeding through the sand.
The Concealed Field update in Season 5 of the Warzone 2 DMZ will allow you to take on the appearance of a DMZ AI fighter. After activating the Concealed Field Upgrade, “DMZ AI combatants of the same faction will not attack unless you break cover and act aggressively towards them.” Battle Revive in Warzone 2 Season 5 DMZ mixes Battle Rage with Self-Revive to devastating effect. The effects of Battle Rage will trigger immediately after you get up from a prone position. This combo will allow you to regenerate health faster and offer a long tactical sprint period to turn a dire situation into a profitable one.
Self-Revive, debuting in Warzone 2 DMZ Season 5, will feature several self-repair kits. This makes it an ideal item for squads infiltrating together.
The new Warzone 2 DMZ scuba diving gas mask will act as two-in-one, combining the features of a traditional gas mask with a rebreather. This will protect you from the gas and also give you more time to breathe underwater.
