New DMZ Field Upgrade in Warzone 2
The Warzone Season 5 update releases on August 2 and brings a host of changes to the DMZ , including AI that can trigger killstreaks, a new Konni group faction, and new field updates.
The developers have already made fighting with other players in the DMZ more dangerous, but the PVP side has remained alive and well. Now for players who want to get in, grab the loot they want, and perform a quick banishment, the new Disguise Field Upgrade will come in handy.
Upgrading the DMZ will disguise you as a member of one of the AI factions . After activating the Field Upgrade, the faction’s AI will treat you as one of its own and will not attack you unless you are provoked.
It’s not clear how deep the disguise goes, it could change your whole appearance or just make AI enemies friendly to you. If you really are like an AI soldier, he can be especially powerful against other players as you can merge with them for surprise attacks.
The Disguise Field Update may be missing at the launch of Season 5 on August 2, as it is only listed as arriving in the Launch Window, so may arrive at a later date.
