New Warzone map Urzikstan. Expected release date.
The new Warzone map has been officially revealed, coming with the launch of Modern Warfare 3.
The new Urzikstan Warzone map is expected to arrive on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 . While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s widely believed that this is when the first season of Modern Warfare 3 will begin, and the developers have revealed that this is when the MW3 update is happening in Warzone.
Season 6 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 is set to end on this date according to the in-game Battle Pass timer, so all signs point to a release date of December 6th.
There are a total of 11 POIs on the new Warzone map “Urzikstan”, here they are all:
- Levin Resort
- Popov Power
- Orlov Military Base
- Seaport District
- Urzikstan Cargo
- Old Town
- Low Town
- Hadiqa Farms
- Zaravan City
- Zaravan Suburbs
- Shahin Manor
These are 11 Urzikstan POIs, some of which may be familiar to you. The Eagles Military Base is actually Countdown from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Seaport District is a multiplayer seaport map, with Overwatch from the original MW3 also featured on the map.
The developers aimed to provide a more interactive experience when it comes to POIs on the new Warzone map, Urzikstan. This should improve rotation and cover, but only time will tell as players move to the new map once MW3 launches on November 10, 2023.
