New Lockdown mode in Warzone 2
A few weeks after the Season 4 update, the map also saw the introduction of the all-new Lockdown LTM .
Lockdown is a new limited-time mode that arrived in Warzone 2 Season 4 for the new Vondel map. This mode is exclusive to the new Vondel map , which means you won’t be able to play this new LTM on any other Warzone 2 maps.
The new LTM, Lockdown, is “inspired by the Hardpoint multiplayer” as it sees teams of four capture and hold zones around Vondel to win the game rather than being the last squad standing.
Lockdown is a goal-based battle royale mode where players will need to stick together and score points by holding zones in Modern Warfare 2 Hardpoint ‘s large-scale multiplayer version . This mode is said to “last about twice as long as a traditional Hardpoint match”.
It’s also important to note that custom equipment will be available from the start , so choose your classes wisely.
The new Warzone 2 Season 4 temporary lock mode for Vondel is available starting June 28, 2023 . While the new mode was included on the Season 4 blog, Lockdown appeared in the Warzone 2 playlist on June 28th.
The Call of Duty blog claimed that this mode would be part of the playlist rotation at the launch of Warzone 2 Season 4, it came later.
We don’t have a date yet for when the lockdown will be lifted, but we expect this limited time mode to be available for approximately two weeks in Season 4.
