MW3 Zombies: How to get miracle weapons.
There are currently only four Wonder Weapons in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies , but we expect more to be added each season. The Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2 were part of the launch of MW3 Zombies, and the Scorcher was introduced in the Season 1 update.
The V-R11 Wonder Weapon was introduced in Season 2, but was only obtainable as a weapon case until the Season 2 Reboot update, in which players could obtain the blueprint from within the Dark Aether Rifts.
Wonder weapons can be obtained by using Mystery Boxes , each costing 950 essences . You can easily find these Mystery Boxes on the tactical map . However, their location may change in each match as they are randomly selected from the many Mystery Box locations scattered around the map.
We recommend preparing and trying your best to survive and complete contracts in High Threat Zones , as this will guarantee better rewards and potentially give you a blueprint for one of the available Wonder Weapons.
MW3 Zombies players can receive a guaranteed Wonder Weapon Crate from any of the available warlord boss missions in Urzikstan.
The Legacy Fortress Warlord boss, Dokkaebi, or the newly added Keres can be defeated to receive a free Wonder Weapon. These are not easy fights, so equip yourself with the best perks and upgrade your weapons to strategically deal with each warlord.
You can only remove a Wonder Weapon if it remains inside the weapon case . Once a weapon box is opened, you will not be able to put the weapon back inside and will have to either throw it away or use it in the current draw. Obtain these Weapon Cases by completing bounties and opening Reward Rifts in High Threat Zones (Red Zone).
