Modern Warfare 3: Warzone CODMAS Event

 The MWIII Christmas Event will bring new challenges, rewards, map updates and more. The CODMAS event will appear in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on December 19.

The CODMAS Warzone event features a “Deck the Halls” event where Santa drops gifts throughout Urzikstan in the form of holiday crates. Boxes surrounding Christmas trees will be marked on your tactical map. When the team gets close to this area, a flair will be sent out, and if you get there first, you’ll have to defend to get the rewards and get a chance to fight Zombie Santa.

Picking up the key will open the “Merry” portal, which will lead you to the “zombified Juggernaut Santa”. Defeating him will result in high-level loot.

The Urzikstan Train will be taken over by Santa during Warzone’s CODMAS event, where he will “distribute gifts to well-behaved operators” and meet “naughty” players with “strong resistance.” What makes the Operator good or naughty in this case remains to be seen.

MW Warzone will feature four themed content during the CODMAS celebration: Deck the Halls, Zombie Santa, Slay Ride and snowball fights with new challenges and rewards.

In Urzikstan, it is possible to add LTM Resurgence, specifically for the CODMAS event, the Slay Ride revival mode may be available on Ashika Island or Vondel instead. Little is known about what this Christmas LTM will entail, but players were in for a number of treats.

Deadly Snowballs can be found throughout Urzikstan during the CODMAS event. These are included in both standard equipment and are marked on the map with a snowflake icon if you need more.

During the CODMAS event, you’ll be able to complete new challenges in both Warzone and MW3.
