Modern Warfare 3: Vortex Virus Mainframe Event.
This new challenge follows hot on the heels of the Blaze Up and High Trip events, offering players even more opportunities to earn exclusive rewards.
The upcoming event in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will begin on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 9am ET / 12pm ET / 5pm UK time. The Vortex Virus Mainframe event is likely to last about a week. However, an official end date has not been confirmed. The Blaze Up and High Trip events end on the same day and time .
Taking part in the Vortex Virus Mainframe event is very easy. MW3 and Warzone players will simply need to earn XP to unlock free rewards in the event. While the previous Vortex Decay’s Realm featured a number of special challenges, Virus Mainframe will follow in the footsteps of War’s Domain and reward fans for simply playing the game.
XP is earned by completing matches in MW3 or Warzone, and of course, the more kills and wins you rack up, the more points you’ll earn. During the event, each game will contribute to your total. And if you want to speed things up, every match completed with the Bacillus skin equipped will also award a bonus of 1000 XP , which can only be obtained by purchasing the Vi.Rus Ultra Skin Tracer Pack .
While exact event rewards have not yet been announced, previous Vortex events have offered prizes such as unique camos, calling cards, emblems, weapon charms, and double experience tokens.
The Vortex Virus Mainframe Event is just one of many exciting events happening in Warzone and Season 3 of MW3.
