Modern Warfare 3: Totally Advanced Resurgence Mode.
If you visited the Vondel map on April 1, 2024 and noticed something was wrong, you were likely not alone. It’s all part of Activision’s celebration of silly April Fools’ pranks, and it’s great fun.
Following in the tradition of Warzone, Raven Software has introduced an all-new mode that offers players a unique limited-edition experience in Resurgence.
In Totally Advanced Resurgence, players have discovered special changes:
- Super jump
- Super slide that can damage enemies
- Super dive
- Increased speed while running, swimming or falling
- Players appear with all privileges (special bonus)
- Bonuses appear at the beginning of each match
Players’ constant jumping and mid-air combat is reminiscent of games like Halo , Tribes , or even the jetpack antics of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. It’s a fun little mode where changes save themselves to the playlist, so the standard BR and Resurgence are still available if you don’t want to experience what it’s like to be fully advanced.
While Call of Duty has yet to announce an end date, the Totally Advanced Resurgence mode is only expected to be available on April 1st , following previous limited-time modes in honor of April Fools’ Day.
However, this is just speculation, so we will update this article if Raven Software announces an extension to this mode or provides a specific end date.
