Modern Warfare 3: Thermite is the perfect C4 replacement.

Thermite works like a combination of Semtex and a Molotov cocktail, capable of sticking to any surface and flaming violently on impact. Unlike C4 and Semtex, thermite itself is not explosive, but burns at extreme temperatures.

Thermite   can be extremely useful, providing a number of advantages over the ever-reliable throwing knives or the recently nerfed C4.

For starters, thermite can be  thrown quite far, which combined with its sticky and incendiary effect can  reduce enemies’ health and vision . Additionally, Termites are  great counters to Riot Shields  , allowing you to damage players by simply throwing a grenade at their location on the ground.

Another underrated effect is  the ability to locate enemies  by throwing an item in their immediate vicinity. The effect of its burning reveals the enemy’s positions.

Thermite can be more tactical compared to C4, and has become a popular option since C4’s nerf in Season 4 Reloaded. Reductions included reductions in maximum C4 damage (from 275 to 200), external damage (from 137 to 100), and maximum radius (from 7 to 6.5 meters).
