Modern Warfare 3’s extensive weapon list  features several shotguns that excel in close combat thanks to their incredible firepower and mobility.

3. Lockwood 680

The Lockwood 680 , once the best shotgun in Warzone, remains a popular option in the category thanks to its superior mobility and damage output. Unlike its counterparts, the Lockwood 680 is more of a hip-fire shotgun. However, this weapon will allow you to easily clear buildings and dominate melee combat.

2.Haymaker

Even though the Haymaker isn’t number one, it remains a great option for close range combat. Just like Origin 12 from MW 2019, players who love shotguns still rely on the Haymaker, given its huge magazine, high damage and rate of fire. And this, combined with  its impressive range and wide range of attachments,  makes the Haymaker one of the best shotguns for use in MW3.

1. KV Broadside

The KV Broadside is not much different from the MX Guardian. Both are very fast-firing shotguns with almost identical damage and effective range. We find the KV Broadside to be a little easier to score multiple kills with, thanks to its higher mobility and better recoil control. You wouldn’t expect recoil control to be important in a shotgun, but considering how fast the KV Broadside shoots, it’s a very nice benefit. It lacks the sheer rate of fire of its fully-automatic competitor, the MX Guardian, but that’s not a big deal to us. Getting double and triple kills on KV Broadside is frighteningly easy.

With the JAK Jawbreaker Aftermarket, the KV Broadside has taken the title  of best shotgun in Warzone  . Available as part of the Week 2 Weekly Challenges, this attachment turns the KV Broadside into an automatic battle rifle.
