Modern Warfare 3: Season 2 – expected release date and content.

Activision has not yet officially confirmed when Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 will begin , however, we are reasonably confident that it will begin on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. The Season 1 Battle Pass is expected to end on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Therefore, Call of Duty will most likely leave no gap in between and will go straight to Season 2.

However, a January 25 report revealed massive Microsoft layoffs at Activision that affected several Call of Duty studios. The layoffs also affected Sledgehammer Games, a studio that is actively involved in content for MW3. At this point, it remains to be seen how or if this will impact the release of upcoming content in Modern Warfare 3.

There will likely be a lot of new weapons, skins, a new operator, a new wonder weapon , zombie schematics, and many other incentives in the battle pass. Naturally, we expect it to cost 1,100 COD points to access and include 100 levels.

It’s also fair to assume that new multiplayer maps will be added along with some new game modes of one kind or another compared to the previous season.

Modern Warfare 3 is rumored to be adding a sword and a bow after game files for both weapons were reportedly discovered.

This could potentially be linked to a leaked Walking Dead event where The Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes and Michonne are expected to be featured as new cameramen.

This was first reported by a source known as  HeyImAlaix  (via X, formerly Twitter) in November.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Season 2

In Season 2, players will find new schemes and acquisitions. According to sources, gamers will get to know the schematics for the Blood Burner ether bike and the state-of-the-art wonder weapon V-R11 in the second season of MW3 Zombies.

According to reports, MW Zombies Season 2 may feature a slew of new warlords and strongholds. It is noteworthy that these military leaders are planned to be rotated, which means that with each Modern Warfare battle with Zombies, a new one will appear. Treyarch has just confirmed this information, adding an intriguing level of unpredictability to the gameplay.

Before the release of Season 1 of Reloaded, there were rumors and speculation about new mechanics for MW3 Zombies. The leak stated from the beginning that the Mule Kick would be added, making it the only backpack update in MW3 Zombies.

This benefit is expected to bring a unique element to the gameplay by allowing players to carry additional weapons that can impact their tactics during a zombie invasion.

Until nothing is confirmed from Activision, we urge you not to take any of these rumors or supposed “leaks” too seriously. As soon as official details are revealed, we will be sure to update this article.
