Modern Warfare 3 Season 1: expected release date and more.
Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 will arrive in December 2023, and while the developers haven’t given an exact date, we expect it to arrive on Wednesday, December 6th, which is when Modern Warfare 2 and Season 6 of Warzone wrap up.
Three maps will be available in the Season 1 update, and a fourth map, Rio, will appear in the Season update

Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 will feature Firefight and All or Nothing game modes. While these two game modes have been confirmed to appear, the developers have also stated that they are expecting “more multiplayer game modes .”
Gunfight is a fan-favorite mode that focuses on intense encounters that are great for testing your gun skills. Meanwhile, All or Nothing could be an updated version of the mode that debuted in the original MW3.
While the full list of content for the first season of Modern Warfare 3 has not been revealed, host el_bobberto claims to have revealed five new weapons coming this season. Three of them are said to be coming at launch, with the rest likely coming in the Reloaded update.

Modern Warfare 3 zombies will receive a new Wonder Weapon called the V-R11 in Season 1. Here’s a description of what the new weapon can do: “The modified V-R11 Wonder Weapon packs a powerful punch, turning enemies, zombies or humans, into loyal allies.” .
The first season of Modern Warfare 3 will feature a new map, Warzone Urzikstan . Although the first season is separate from Modern Warfare 3, it will introduce the next generation of Warzone.
Set on the new Urzikstan map, this Warzone update will include all Modern Warfare 3 content such as operators and weapons. and some of its mechanics in the battle royale.
Warzone players who have been calling for movement changes since the launch of Warzone 2 will be happy to hear that Modern Warfare 3 moves are coming to the battle royale: “Warzone will be updated to include a variety of new movement mechanics, including maneuvering. from both Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare III. Examples include slide cancel, tactical stance, and more.”
In addition to the fresh content listed above, we expect the first season of MW3 to contain much of the same content as the Modern Warfare 2 seasons, including the first Battle Pass, Operators, and weapon balance changes. and much more .
