Modern Warfare 3 reveals event in Warzone 2
Modern Warfare 3 has finally been confirmed and players will be seeing the sequel live inside Warzone for the first time.
The Modern Warfare 3 launch event will take place on Thursday, August 17 at 10:30 AM PT / 1:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM BST inside Warzone 2. The Modern Warfare 3 reveal event will be available in Warzone as limited time event . Just log in on opening day and you’ll find the “Shadow Siege” playlist. The developers emphasize that in this event, you will “join the ranks of the Shadow Company to fight Connie’s forces and eliminate the threat of chemical weapons before it’s too late.”
The developers have announced all of the Modern Warfare 3 Shadow Siege rewards that will be available while participating in the event, including the all-new M13C assault rifle.

Following the release of the first official Modern Warfare 3 trailer, Call of Duty added a small Easter challenge that players had to complete that shows an additional image of the event. In order to access it, players will need to engage in a conversation with a number that appears briefly in the opening moments of the trailer.
When the text message “Done” arrives at this number, the message automatically pops up: “Major conflict is coming, many opportunities,” hinting at the event. What follows is “we need someone like you, with Al Mazra experience”, confirming the previous information that the event will take place on the current Warzone 2 Battle Royale map.
The conversation comes to an end when the recipient agrees to receive “confidential information” followed by the following message: “Expect important information. a taste of what’s to come” accompanied by a new official image of the event.
The image shows the location of the observatory as mentioned earlier in the article, with eight marked dots attached to the center of the POI and a blurry image of what looks like a rocket.
According to the blog, at the event, players will help the Shadow Company eliminate a chemical weapons threat, which could be the missile shown in the image.
