Modern Warfare 3: Gulag Update.
On March 19, Warzone developers introduced a new game update that brought several changes to Gulag .
The developers have unveiled an update that adds additional buffs and nerfs to popular meta picks, as well as much-requested changes to the Gulag. The Season 1 Reboot update introduced a night version of the Gulag, where players had to fight using NVGs.
Players were quick to criticize this new addition, stating that the night Gulag makes it impossible to see enemies, and criticized the inclusion of lasers by default in all Gulag gear.
Fortunately, after a long wait, the Warzone developers decided to disable night mode in Gulag and remove laser attachments , replacing Gulag equipment.
To keep the game fresh, Warzone developers often experiment with new ideas within existing features that consistently function as intended. However, players have been eagerly awaiting these changes to the Gulag since the beginning of the Urzikstan chapter.
Given the Gulag’s key role in getting players back into the game, many felt that introducing restrictions detracted from the skill-based nature of 1v1 combat, turning it into a battle of chance.
