Modern Warfare 3: New weapons in Season 3
Season 3 of Modern Warfare 3 , Warzone and Warzone Mobile releases on April 3, and Activision has revealed what players can expect from this new season of Call of Duty. This includes a CTF game mode and new multiplayer maps, the return of Snoop Dogg with a new skin, the return of Rebirth Island to Warzone, and Cheech and Chong becoming Call of Duty operators.
The new season will feature four new weapons. The FJX Horus submachine gun, the MORS sniper rifle from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and the Gladiator melee weapon are included in the free tiers of the Battle Pass. The BAL-27 assault rifle from Advanced Warfare will be coming in a mid-season update.
MORS is a new sniper rifle for Season 3, unlocked after completing Sector 4 of the Battle Pass. This rifle was used extensively in the Advanced Warfare campaign. MORS is capable of quickly delivering bullets to the target thanks to its incredible speed and penetrating power. MORS is an acronym for Military Rail Sniper, and it outperforms them in terms of damage and handling. The downside will undoubtedly be the reload time required after each shot.
BAL-27 (Assault Rifle) – The roadmap states that the BAL-27 can be unlocked through the Battle Pass. What we do know is that it won’t be available at the start of Season 3 and will likely go on sale sometime mid-season. The Bullpup AR increases its rate of fire over time, with the first four shots being slower but more accurate than the next. It will be available with a 60-round magazine and is great for close-range combat.
The MW3 and Warzone Season 3 Battle Pass will feature the all-new FJX Horus SMG in Sector 8 . Players will be able to unlock the new Season 3 SMG right away, and it will be balanced, meaning it won’t have the highest rate of fire or damage range, but its stats will be well-matched for any purpose.
Gladiator (Melee) is a new knife that can be unlocked in sector 15 of the Battle Pass. It is designed to rival karambit and other small knives in terms of mobility. Gladiator provides extremely high movement and melee speed, which is very useful. As you’d expect, you’ll have to get as close as possible for Gladiator to be effective.
Three of the four new weapons for Season 3 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will be available to purchase at launch via the Battle Pass. For everything else, you’ll have to wait until mid-season or work hard on the weekly challenges.
