Modern Warfare 3: When will Season 1 be released?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will release on November 10th, but the game will be getting even more content soon after with the Season 1 update. 

The first season of Modern Warfare 3 will release in  December 2023  , and although the developers haven’t announced an exact date  ,  we expect it to release on  Wednesday, December 6th.

The first season of Modern Warfare 3 will contain virtually the same content as the seasons of Modern Warfare 2 , including the first  Battle Pass, new weapons , operators, maps, weapon balance changes, new zombies content, and more  .

This has already been partially confirmed: the developers have announced that six 6v6 maps will appear during the first and second seasons. There will likely be three maps in each season, but we’ll have to wait and see what Sledgehammer has planned.

Although the first season is separate from Modern Warfare 3, it will also introduce the next generation of Warzone. Set on the new Urzikstan map, this Warzone update will bring all of Modern Warfare 3’s content and some of its mechanics into the battle royale.

We’ll likely learn more about the first season of Modern Warfare 3, including the future of the DMZ, towards the end of November.
