Modern Warfare 3: Cryptid Bootcamp Event.
Cryptid Bootcamp is an upcoming event included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 , which will be available from February 14 to February 28, 2024.
The Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 update was a major change to both games, making significant changes to multiplayer gameplay and adding ranked respawn to the battle royale game along with new weapons and maps.
As with most in-game Call of Duty events, players will be able to earn special cosmetic items and rewards by participating and completing challenges for a limited period.
During the Warzone and MW3 Cryptid Bootcamp events, players will be able to earn free rewards by completing a number of challenges . While the goals have not yet been revealed, they will most likely involve getting kills with certain weapons or eliminating enemies in a certain way.
This is based on the in-game description of the event, which reads: “Fact or fiction? Prove your monstrous might and complete event challenges to earn mysterious rewards. [Foil hat not included].”
The event covers Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer , Zombies and Warzone modes, so each reward will have a separate challenge for each mode. However, you will only need to complete one version of the challenge to receive the free item before unlocking the final reward.
It hasn’t been announced what the rewards will be, but based on past events, players can expect to be offered calling cards, weapon talismans, and more, with the final reward likely being a new camo.
If you equip the correct Tracer Pack skin, you will be able to receive an experience bonus during the event.
At the time of writing, Activision has not yet confirmed what rewards will be available during the Cryptid Bootcamp event. However, we do know that there will be a total of nine rewards to earn.
These events usually have a specific skin associated with them, usually from the Tracer Pack in the store, which provides bonus XP when equipped during the event. Upcoming Tracer packs for Season 2 include:
