Modern Warfare 3 uses the Ricochet anti-cheat.

Activision has confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 includes a new and improved version of the Ricochet anti-cheat at launch.

In a post, the developers said that fans can expect: “New additions to  Ricochet Anti-Cheat  , as well as new plans to combat toxicity.” continue to provide a fun, fair and welcoming online experience for all players.”

Splat is one of  Ricochet’s new anti-cheat measures to detect and combat cheaters  in Modern Warfare 3.

The MW3 developers describe Splat as a feature that will “increase the player’s falling speed, causing even small jumps to become devastating falls.” The developers promised new countermeasures in Modern Warfare 3, and their implementation was not long in coming.
