Modern Warfare 3: How to unlock the “Obsidian” camouflage

The Obsidian camo first appeared in 019’s Modern Warfare 2 as a Mastery camo, and in Season 4 of the MW3 cycle, the unique design has returned and falls under the Prestige camo category, meaning players will have to work hard to get their hands on one.

Before unlocking Obsidian, players must unlock the One Trick Prestige camo, which was introduced in Season 3. After this, players must earn 200,000 experience with any weapon in the arsenal. This is an ideal solution for those who want to upgrade their  Kar98k sniper rifle  or SMG Superi 46  and earn a stunning design.

While this may seem like a daunting task, the good news is that obsidian camo can be unlocked for each weapon type. This means you can focus on your favorite weapon and work on multiple camouflages at the same time.

According to the Season 4 blog, despite the iconic look of MW 2019, MW3 and Warzone’s Obsidian camo will be animated. Back in 2019, this was a highly requested camouflage feature. After almost five years, the players’ wishes finally came true.
